Stewards Comments

ETCETERA ETCETERA bumped at the start. Raced wide on straightening and lay inwards considerably over the final 350m with its rider using the whip in his left hand in an endeavour to keep the gelding straight. A warning was placed trainer advised that it was now his intention to consider making gear changes to correct the gelding's racing manner. Trainer was advised to continue to engage a senior rider for its immediate racing. TALBOT BAY steadied when crowded passing the 1100m. Impeded for clear running between the 250m and the 200m. MOONCHKA raced wide from the 900m. Crowded and then lay inwards passing the 150m and in this incident was flicked over the head by the whip of another rider. TIDAL STORM over-raced and lay outwards and consequently had to be steadied near the 950m. Bumped outwards near the 100m. TRIHEED held up for clear running between the 350m and the 100m and then bumped. TRUSTADANE jumped awkwardly and buffeted at the start. Held tight and carried inwards passing the 150m. Bumped when crowded near the 100m. WEBB ELLIS held tight and bumped near the 125m and shortly afterwards was tightened having to be restrained.
