Stewards Comments

FOR SHAME slow to begin. MARANELLO MISS raced keenly in the early and middle stages and was steadied passing the 1400m. REDEPLOY carried outwards near the 1400m and then raced wide for the remainder of the race. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that in his opinion the mare is better suited to racing on rain affected tracks. Trainer advised that it is now his intention to restrict the mare's future racing on tracks of a softer nature.
