Stewards Comments

CHARLIE BEAU when questioned regarding the performance, rider advised that he had eased the gelding to the outside shortly after straightening, however it became impeded and had to be steadied for a short distance approaching the 200m which resulted in it losing some momentum. He further advised that the gelding had a tendency to race greenly and in his view would be better suited by racing over an increased distance. Trainer advised that he would now give consideration to racing the gelding over a longer distance if possible. KIA ORA MISS steadied when crowded slightly passing the 1000m. LAST SONG bumped near the 300m. Steadied near the 125m. AROUND JINDABYNE scrambled on jumping.
