Stewards Comments

NOT SO SECRET slow into stride and raced ungenerously in the early stages. Held up on straightening. ASCOLTA when questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding had not travelled well during running and when asked for an effort from the 400m did not respond. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer expressed great disappointment with the gelding's performance and advised that he would have the gelding undergo an endoscopic examination and take blood samples and advise Stewards of the results. DEPOLIAN QUEEN returned with a laceration to the near hind leg. QUEEN OF STORMS raced wide throughout.
