Stewards Comments

MR MILKO jumped awkwardly with its rider becoming unbalanced. Steadied near the 1600m. Rider was questioned regarding his riding tactics in the middle stages. He stated that he was instructed to take up a forward position however considering the fast pace in the early and middle stages he elected to settle the gelding further back than anticipated and as such was forced to cover extra ground when making a forward move from the 1200m. Rider was advised by Stewards that they considered that his ride on the gelding was ill judged and in future he should show more initiative under similar circumstances. CONTORTIONIST bumped at the 200m. RIDGEWOOD AMBER raced wide throughout. NORFOLK SONG bounded on jumping. Threw its head in the air shortly after and lost ground. Raced wide on straightening. Bumped at the 200m.
