Stewards Comments

DOCTORS IMAGE held up from the turn into the straight until the 200m. HANRAHAN slow into stride. Crowded and steadied near the 200m. LIGHTING LUKA bumped at the start. Lay outwards near the 200m. MAJESTIC RANGE jumped awkwardly. Over-raced in the early stages. PWAKKERS BACK when questioned about the riding of the gelding, Jockey stated that he was instructed to ride the gelding back and improve its position from the 800m. Rider added that after beginning well the gelding began to race keenly and when being settled got further back than anticipated due to the hard early pace of the race. Trainer confirmed these instructions and added that whilst he was satisfied with the gelding's performance today, this was its first start him since entering his stable. TEMPLARS HALO blocked for a clear run from the 250m until the 200m and was then taken outwards to obtain clear running. SURPRISE ME NOW bumped at the start.
