Stewards Comments

EZEKIEL slipped at the start. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with Cardiac Arrhythmia and being "tied up". Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. LACERATE rider reported that the gelding mis-strode over the concluding stages. WARRING DANCER raced wide throughout. ZED'S GIRL proved difficult to load delaying the start. Trainer advised that the filly would now be spelled. Trainer was advised that the filly would have to trial or jump out to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. NOIRSAY slow into stride and buffeted shortly after. When questioned, rider advised that the filly did not respond to his urgings in the early stages and lost contact with the remainder of the field and when ridden vigorously from the 450m made ground and finished the race off strongly. WINGFIRE a post race Veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. ZANY LADY got its head in the air when being steadied near the 800m. Lay inwards over the final 200m. Rider was reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts out fully over the concluding stages of the race. KAZZIE GIRL proved difficult to load delaying the start. Momentarily inconvenienced near the 200m. Trainer was advised that the filly would have to trial or jump out to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. METRO MISS bumped at the start. Impeded for clear running from the 250m until being steadied outwards at the 125m.
