Stewards Comments

ARCTIC PARK bumped and steadied passing the 1000m. HARDRADA raced wide from the 600m. GRASSPATCH GIRL lay outwards over the final 150m. LUKABOOM impeded for clear running from the 50m. MR DIAGNOSIS failed to settle throughout the race. OLD SAGE raced wide throughout. OUR FUJI MAK over-raced and got its head in the air near the 1000m. Baulked and over-reacted and then shifted inwards quickly approaching the 200m. POLISH REIGN slow to begin. RIPPED raced wide throughout. SCENIC SHOT when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the gelding had been travelling comfortably until the 600m and when asked for an effort on straightening failed to respond as expected and only ran on fairly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer stated that although the gelding had not performed up to his expectations, he was not overly disappointed in the performance as it had recorded a time of 33.87 seconds for the final 600m. TARZI pulled very hard in the early and middle stages.
