Stewards Comments

SILVER AMBUSH tightened and buffeted losing ground near the 300m. MARINE DRIVE bumped near the 300m and lay inwards over the final 200m. DOC O' WAR held up on straightening until passing the 250m. BUCKLEUP BUSTER eased passing the 500m. CANSPRINT raced wide over the final 600m. Tightened and bumped at the 300m. Lay inwards between the 300m and the 200m. CAPSTEEN held up on straightening and when shifting outwards to obtain clear running made contact with another runner at the 300m. Momentarily steadied passing the 250m. FLYIN' LEICA DANE commenced awkwardly. Tightened and bumped at the 300m. Tightened, bumped and steadied passing the 200m. HALOS FOR US raced keenly in the early and middle stages. OUR MAN STAN when questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer advised that the gelding was better suited to racing over an increased distance today compared to its previous start over 1200m at Collie on 21 October 2006 which in her opinion contributed to the improved performance. RAISE A STORM eased passing the 550m.
