Stewards Comments

INNOVATION lay inwards and brushed near the 100m. HOMME brushed near the 100m. CAVALIER WAY when questioned, rider reported that due to the fast early pace and its wide barrier today he had elected to steady the gelding to race at the rear of the field which was in contrast to its two previous starts where it had raced prominently. Trainer advised that it was now his intention to place a tongue bit on the gelding for future starts. DEMANDING ACTION threw its head on jumping. TUMMLER raced keenly in the early and middle stages and consequently was taken outwards passing the 1000m when striding onto heels.
