Stewards Comments

ABOUT CLASS commenced awkwardly and bumped. Rider was shown a section of film in the early stages and reminded of his obligation to maintain a reasonable pace whilst leading. Rider was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out to the finish of the race. MORROWIND raced wide from the 800m. NOT HAPPY JEFF threw its head on jumping. REMEMBER JAMES difficult to load and bumped at the start. Trainer was advised to take steps to rectify the gelding's barrier manners. SIR ONAN bumped at the start. Pulled hard in the early stages. JASKO bumped at the start. Inclined to lay inwards in the straight, with its rider having to stop riding and straighten his mount on several occasions. TELEPATHIC a post race Veterinary examination of the poorly performed mare revealed it to have a poor post race recovery. Trainer advised it was now his intention to have the mare fully vetted and have blood samples taken and advise Stewards of the results. Trainer later advised that on return to the stable the mare was revealed to have swelling to the off hind leg.
