Stewards Comments

GRAND ACADEMY raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Bumped at the 800m. CAVALIER WAY commenced awkwardly. TEMPLARS HALO dwelt at the start. BONNY DEE held up for a short distance on straightening. SHY CANO held up on straightening until passing the 75m. STORMY ZAPH when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider expressed disappointment and advised that the mare had failed to stride outward when asked for an effort in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be slightly lame in both fore legs. Trainer advised that she would be sending the mare for a spell. DEPOLIAN QUEEN raced wide throughout. Bumped at the 800m.
