Stewards Comments

PET BALL when questioned as to the seemingly disappointing performance Trainer advised that in his opinion the mare was not suited to today's track conditions and further stated that he would monitor the mare on return to the stables and advise Stewards of his immediate racing plans for the mare. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have jarred up in the near fore leg. METAL DANCER dipped shortly after the start. ENTREGA bumped at the start. Raced wide on straightening. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. COLLIER LAD raced wide throughout. EXSTRA threw its head and bumped at the start. Raced keenly in the middle stages.
