Stewards Comments

REGAL GEM returned with a laceration to the off hind leg. Trainer reported that on return to the stables the mare was found to have soreness to the off hind leg. Trainer was advised that the mare would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. MCCULLOCH PARK eased leaving the 800m. MINION raced greenly in the early stages. MONDAINE raced keenly in the early stages. Saddle slipped near the 500m placing its rider at a disadvantage in riding the filly out in the straight. GOLD DESIRE dipped on jumping and was inclined to lay inwards over the final 250m.
