Stewards Comments

LANDSPEED CRUISER slow to begin. BY THE MARK slow to begin and raced wide on straightening. Returned sore in both fore legs. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer further advised it was now his intention to retire the gelding. PRETTY SMIK crowded and eased passing the 800m. Returned with lacerations to the off hind. Trainer advised it was now his intention to retire the mare. SPANISH LADY broke down in the near fore leg and was subsequently euthanased.
