Stewards Comments

BOOLYON raced keenly in the early and middle stages. KALAF bumped at the start. Inclined to lay outwards in the straight. Trainer advised he would experiment with a gear change in an attempt to rectify the gelding's racing manner. LITTLE VAIN commenced awkwardly. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised it was now his intention to retire the gelding. NORRING FLASH bumped near the 600m. Returned with a laceration to the near hind leg. DREAM ON inclined to lay inwards over the final 200m. KIM REWARD lay outwards near the 600m and bumped. BLANCMANGE bumped at the start. Restrained and taken inwards to avoid heels near the 150m. FUNCTION raced wide from the 600m and impeded for some distance on straightening. LOVE A BEAM raced wide throughout and bumped near the 600m.
