Stewards Comments

GALILEI over-raced in the early and middle stages. Impeded for clear running on straightening and also approaching the 250m. INARTICULATE slow to begin. Steadied at the 1200m. Raced wide on straightening. KIM LAVENDER slow to begin. Raced wide throughout. SHOOTING FISH momentarily impeded at the 250m. CASUAL LIFE rider reported that due to the lack of early pace in the race he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to the lead and the gelding, which is unaccustomed to racing in this position raced greenly throughout as a result. ENQUIRIES trainer reported that on return to the stable the gelding was found to have an injury to its near fore frog.
