Stewards Comments

COMFORTABLY NUMB when questioned regarding the reason for the gelding leading today, rider explained that it was not his intention to lead however as the gelding failed to settle in the early stages he elected to ride the gelding forward shortly after the start and was able to lead when no other runners displayed early pace. LOVES TO CRUISE steadied getting its head in the air approaching the 1400m. Raced wide from the 700m. TOMSOYA raced wide from the 1000m.
