Stewards Comments

LA PAZ turned its head sideways from the 50m in an attempt to savage another runner and bumped heavily near the winning post. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare and if it was to re-offend in this manner action may be taken against it. to engage a senior rider on the mare for future racing. OLD GEORGIE GIRL proved difficult to load delaying the start of this race. Pulled hard and failed to settle until passing the 500m. Trainer was advised to take steps to rectify the mare's barrier manners. DANECAY when questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the mare failed to respond when ridden along on straightening and had lacked its usual acceleration. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the mare would now be spelled. EGYPTOLOGY raced wide throughout. HI DRAMA had a tendency to over-race in the early and middle stages. Bumped heavily near the winning post. RUBIMAYA raced keenly for some distance leaving the 800m. SIENNA LASS raced greenly throughout and brushed the running rail at the 1200m.
