Stewards Comments

JONCANDY inclined to lay inwards in the straight. Held up for clear running for a short distance approaching the 100m until being restrained outwards to obtain clear running. STAR HEED slow to begin. FRENCH JEWEL bumped at the start. GIVEN GRIEF bumped at the start. THINGS HAVECHANGED inclined to lay inwards over the final 250m with its rider changing the whip to his left hand near the 150m. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance, Trainer stated that in his opinion the gelding was not suited by racing in consecutive weeks at its previous start and further he had reduced the gelding's workload in preparation for today's event. DOUBLE DESIRE raced wide for a majority of the event. LA REGGINO slow to begin.
