Stewards Comments

CANNY JACK slow into stride. Lay inwards over the final 100m. Returned having cast its near fore plate during running. BLAZING ICON raced wide throughout. BLUFF POINT lay inwards in the straight with the rider having to stop riding and straighten her mount. CONATIVE slow to begin. WITH THIS RING lunged forward immediately prior to the start striking its head on the barrier gate. Returned with a laceration to the inside of both nostrils and a subsequent Veterinary examination determined the appearance of blood in both nostrils to be from the incident in the barriers.
