Stewards Comments

MYSTICAL XAAR a post race Veterinary examination of the gelding which tired in the straight revealed it to be showing signs of heat stress. that he would assess the gelding's recovery and after consultation with connections would advise Stewards of his intentions. CHOPIN had a tendency to lay outwards throughout running. Trainer sought and was granted permission to remove the crossover noseband for the gelding's next start. AWESOME FORCE bumped at the start. Raced ungenerously and was steadied approaching the 600m. SCENIC BULLET steadied when impeded near the 300m. SUNRANGE bumped at the start. Lay outwards in the middle stages. PILLOW TIME a post race Veterinary examination of the filly which performed below expectations revealed it to have returned with an elevated heart rate. Trainer expressed disappointment with the performance and advised that it was now his intention to send the filly for a spell. RIDE WITH SUNRISE lay inwards in the straight.
