Stewards Comments

TUAREG a post race Veterinary examination of the gelding which performed poorly revealed it to have an elevated heart rate. Trainer advised that he would race the gelding over an increased distance at its next start in an attempt to have it race in a more forward position as he was of the opinion that it would be better suited ridden this way. Trainer further advised that the gelding may have resented the lugging bit which was added for the first time today and he would now consider a bit change for its future racing. TRIMVISION raced wide throughout.
