Stewards Comments

TERROR TORIAN trainer advised that the gelding had returned with abrasions to both hind fetlock and was of the opinion that the gelding may have choked down during running. Trainer advised that he would take steps to rectify this problem for future racing. CLASSY GRACE jumped awkwardly losing several lengths. Rider was questioned regarding the reason for the mare losing ground at the start and in the early stages. She advised that immediately prior to the gates being released her mount turned its head sideways and as such commenced awkwardly and lost ground. She further advised that as the mare had competed in Race 1 on today's program she was reluctant to urge the mare forward in the early stages in an attempt to make ground on the remainder of the field. WE GOTTA GO steadied at the 900m and hung inwards from the 800m.
