Stewards Comments

DRIFTER slipped on jumping and lost ground. ATTADALE bounded on jumping and lost ground. Lay outwards from the 800m. WESTERN TYCOON jumped awkwardly. LA PAZ a post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have bowed its near fore tendon. Trainer was advised that the mare would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. PEPPI'S PRIDE impeded for clear running passing the 250m. PRICE REGAL raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. Bumped passing the 1100m. When being steadied near the 1000m threw its head. RAW HAUL bumped at the 1100m. TIDAL STORM raced wide in the early and middle stages. Rider reported that the gelding lay inwards in the middle stages. WEEKLY EXPRESS raced wide throughout.
