Stewards Comments

SNIP ESPRIT commenced awkwardly. When questioned, rider advised that the gelding had not commenced cleanly losing ground at the start and given the fast early pace he elected to balance the gelding and improve through the field. In the straight he had been unable to obtain a clear run when being impeded on several occasions passing the 200m. DESERT ALERT slow to begin. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. GENERALAZ slow to begin.
