Stewards Comments

MISTER LINCOLN raced uncompetitively throughout. Rider advised that the gelding felt uncomfortable in its action. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore leg. Trainer was advised that gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness before racing or trialling again. CLASSY CLAN steadied outwards from the heels of a tiring runner at the 450m. SIR VICE steadied passing the 1500m. BOYSIE BOY commenced to compound leaving the 600m after leading in the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that connections would now consider the gelding's racing future but he was advised that it would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. CRYSTAL SPRING over-raced in the early and middle stages. OCEAN'S TWELVE slow into stride. Steadied passing the 1500m.
