ON THE WARPATH when questioned rider advised that the colt had been slightly inconvenienced in the early stages when obliged to race further back in the field than anticipated, however after this had received a favourable passage and had not run on in the straight as well as expected. He further advised that the colt had a tendency to lay inwards over the final 125m. SECRET VAULT crowded and steadied when racing keenly passing the 900m. BEALAIR over-raced in the early and middle stages. Held tight passing the 900m. Bumped prior to straightening when taken outwards. Rider was advised to exercise more caution when shifting outwards to improve his position in future. MAJOR CANNY raced wide in the early stages. Rider advised that the gelding had a tendency to lay inwards throughout running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the near fore. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Trainer advised that he would now have the injury further assessed by his Veterinary Surgeon and advise Stewards of the findings. ZOOMAWAY slow into stride. CHERCHEZ LA FEMME raced tightly with another runner passing the 900m. Bumped prior to straightening and became unbalanced and then lay outwards. Steadied off heels over the concluding stages. OI AUSSIE impeded for clear running passing the 200m. ZEDREAM jumped awkwardly.
