Stewards Comments

REX THE ROBBER blundered on jumping. LE BON JEUNE steadied when racing keenly passing the 1200m and again steadied passing the 650m. DVORYAN had a tendency to lay inwards over the final 175m. TOP OF THE TOP bounded on jumping and crowded and bumped shortly after the start. GAMATRON impeded for clear running over the final 200m. KOOYONG ROAD rider reported that the gelding hung inwards throughout and consequently she was unable to ride it out fully in the straight. Trainer's representative advised that steps would now be taken to rectify the gelding's racing manner. PIEDMONT bumped shortly after the start. PRINCESS HANNAH raced wide throughout. VAIN SPIRIT returned having cast its off hind plate during running.
