Stewards Comments

KENANAS slow to begin. Held tight and steadied near the 600m. Blocked from on straightening until the 150m. Lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages. Rider was advised that she must make a stronger effort to correct her mount when it begins to lay outwards in future. Trainer advised that he was of the opinion that the gelding had resented the nose band and that he would be removing this gear for future racing. METAL FLAKE bumped at the 600m. JAKE'S SISTER held tight and steadied passing the 600m. ASSAYER commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Raced keenly in the early stages and restrained at the 600m, losing ground. Unable to obtain clear running for the majority of the straight. BLUE COTTON CANDY underwent a Veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers and was passed fit to start. Held up from on straightening until the 100m. CALL OF FREEDOM slipped on jumping and lost ground. Lay inwards under pressure near the 200m obliging its rider to straighten the mare and use the whip in his left hand thereafter.
