Stewards Comments

RARING TO ROAR slow into stride. STAR ESCORT knuckled at the start. MASTER REX raced wide from the 600m. SEEK THE TRUTH raced wide throughout. THAT MANN LEO when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, Trainer advised that the gelding was not suited to the fast pace of the race and may also have resented the blinkers, which it was wearing for the first time as it did not jump as well as expected. He further advised it was his intention to step the gelding up in distance and remove the blinkers for its next start. MISS KAMA when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, Trainer advised the mare was not suited to racing on the pace with the quick speed of the race in the early stages. It was his intention to have the mare positioned off the pace when possible in future.
