Stewards Comments

HOKI MAK had a tendency to over-race in the middle stages. HAWKEYE MORT lay outwards after passing the winning post causing the saddle to shift sideways slightly with its rider becoming unbalanced and then eventually taking an apparent harmless fall. The gelding was then recaptured with the rider remounting and being able to weigh in. TOPMAN slow to begin. WING STAR raced wide on straightening.
