Stewards Comments

KEY BISCUIT bumped at the start. Raced wide from the 600m. KEREIGN got its head in the air when being steadied passing the 600m. SILENT HERO buffeted passing the 650m. BLIZZARD RIDGE raced wide in the early stages. HAPPY CHANTE knuckled on jumping and shifted outwards, bumping another runner and lost ground. Rider advised that after the incident at the start the gelding felt uncomfortable in its action throughout the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed an irregular heartbeat. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to undergo an ECG examination and after clearance from the RWWA Veterinarian would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. BEAU RANCHER bumped and buffeted passing the 650m. When questioned, Trainer expressed disappointment in the gelding's performance and advised that it would now be spelled.
