Stewards Comments

MELROSE PRINCE raced wide from the 500m. FLASHY MAK raced wide for the majority of the event. IRISH CROWN raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Blocked for clear running in the straight. Returned having cast its near hind plate during running. FISTICUFF when questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer advised that the gelding had been improving with each run in the great southern region and had responded well since her stable relocation to Lark Hill. Trainer further advised that the gelding had worked well leading up to today's race and following the win would now be sent for a spell. OLD ZERO jumped awkwardly and blocked for clear running for the majority of the straight. FIGHTING PEGASUS crowded and bumped at the start. WORLD FASHION lay outwards under pressure in the straight. KARRIWOOD bumped shortly after the start.
