Stewards Comments

EXPEDITION bumped and carried wider on the track passing the 1000m. Returned having bled from both nostrils during running. Trainer was advised the gelding would now suffer the disabilities of ARR.53A. SERENE DANCER when questioned regarding the apparent poor performance, rider stated that after jumping well the mare had commenced to lay outwards from the 800m and gave ground over the concluding stages. A subsequent Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer expressed disappointed with the performance and advised that the mare would now be sent for a spell. CROWN GLASS over-raced in the early stages. ODDBALL over-raced in the early stages getting its head in the air passing the 1050m and shortly after was taken outwards over heels and was obliged to race wide without cover for the remainder of the race.
