Stewards Comments

BRAVA FORTUNE bumped at the start. VALENTINE MISS raced ungenerously in the early stages. Trainer advised that he intends to remove the blinkers from the filly in an attempt to improve its racing manner. EXQUISITE TIMING bumped at the start. ALL CLASS a post race Veterinary examination revealed the filly to be suffering heat stress. TIMELY QUEEN when questioned, rider advised that he had been instructed to lead on the filly which it had attained easily, however when attempting to settle the filly got its head in the air and commenced to over-race. Under these circumstances he elected to allow the filly to run along as when attempting to restrain it, the filly had continued to race fiercely getting its head in the air. Trainer confirmed these instructions and advised that he would now send the filly for a spell and on resuming racing he would remove the blinkers in an attempt to have it race more tractably. SILVER TEQUILA bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout. MY SWEET LIL jumped awkwardly and bumped. Trainer advised that the filly would now be sent for a spell.
