Stewards Comments

LEFT FOR DEAD raced wide in the early stages. COOLTILLA over-raced in the early and middle stages and raced wide throughout. TEEZINIZE shifted inwards under pressure leaving the 100m. MR DANGEROUS rider reported that the gelding raced greenly in running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. SPRITZIG when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that mare had travelled comfortably in running but when pressured on straightening failed to respond and did not finish the race off as anticipated. Trainer expressed disappointment in the performance and as a post race Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormality he intends to freshen the mare prior to resuming racing. QUICK STITCH stood flat-footed and lost ground at the start. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the mares barrier manners.
