Stewards Comments

FUN SPICE when questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the gelding raced in a flat manner and failed to respond when placed under pressure in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer undertook to monitor the gelding's recovery in the ensuing days and will advise the Stewards accordingly. RUSSELL ROAD commenced awkwardly. JAY JAY MAKSTER bumped at the start. GO BUSTER raced keenly in the early stages and as a result the saddle shifted forward near the 1000m and corrected itself passing the 700m. Raced wide throughout. FUROCITEE crowded at the start. Got its head in the air when racing keenly near the 1000m. VAINTRAIN jumped awkwardly. Over-raced in the early and middles stages. ZENTINA slow into stride.
