Stewards Comments

AMICI bumped and unbalanced near the 650m. Accidently flicked over the nose by the whip of another rider near the 50m. LIKE A VAIN bumped approaching the 1400m and then again at the 650m. Raced wide throughout. KING KOOL KAT held up in the early part of the straight. MASTER MARLON dipped on jumping. Approaching the 1400m raced ungenerously getting its head in the air. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding had received a clear passage throughout running but when ridden along in the straight failed to respond and did not finish off the race as he expected. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer will be contacted in regard to the disappointing performance. PURPLE HAZE rider advised that the saddle shifted in the early stages. Bumped approaching the 1400m.
