Stewards Comments

OBTRUSIVE slow into stride. Had difficulty in obtaining clear running in the straight. REVY JAY over-raced in the early and middle stages. TALK TO THE WALL crowded and steadied near the 125m. KEREIGN eased approaching the 1000m. Blocked for clear running in the straight. BLACK DOUGLAS raced wide throughout. EAGLE ROCK crowded inwards when racing keenly approaching the 1000m. Held up from on straightening until approaching the 200m. TRENTAN DIOR raced wide from the 600m. Following the disappointing performance, Trainer advised that it was now his intention to place blinkers on the gelding and race it over an increased distance at its next start. INTERANGE dipped at the start. LUNAR MODULE held up from on straightening until the 150m. VOLCANIC CAUSEWAY when questioned, rider advised that the gelding had been raced at the rear of the field at recent starts due to not commencing well from wide barriers whereas today it had been able to jump with the field and with the benefit of an inside barrier was able to be positioned on the pace which had better suited the gelding.
