Stewards Comments

CASSIUS GREY unable to obtain clear running from on straightening until near the 100m. LUSKIN DANCER when questioned regarding the apparent improved performance, Trainer advised that at its previous start the mare had been fractious in the barriers and bounded as the start was effected whereas today it was more relaxed and was better suited to the drop in class of today's event. MAJESTIC BOY over-raced in the early stages. VAIN SPIRIT raced wide from the 700m. ABU SIMBEL returned with a laceration to the off hind. MENUHIN raced wide throughout. SCANNED slipped at the start. Blocked for clear running between the 400m and the 100m.
