Stewards Comments

NORTHERN EXPRESS following the disappointing performance, Trainer advised that the gelding would now be spelled and consideration would be given to retiring it and he would advise Stewards accordingly. DR DIEGO raced wide from the 600m. MERIGNAC held tight near the 1400m. CALL OF FREEDOM raced wide throughout. CHOCOLATE CHERRY steadied when crowded approaching the 1400m. STRAPPERS CHOICE raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and was taken out across heels near the 1000m and then raced wide.
