Stewards Comments

KING OF GEMS passing the 800m fractured its near fore leg and was subsequently euthanased. MR CHAT dwelt at the start losing several lengths. Forced extremely wide passing the 800m. Trainer was advised to take steps to improve the gelding's barrier manners. RICH END Severely checked losing ground passing the 800m. CALLISTENE severely inconvenienced passing the 800m. Held tight and carried inwards passing 400m and blundered. MASTER REX bumped heavily at the 800m. Lay inwards in the straight. Crowded and steadied at the 400m. SUMMER HAZE carried outwards and checked passing the 800m. Lay inwards in the straight. BOLD CONQUEROR forced extremely wide at the 800m. ZUBIZARETTA raced wide throughout. SAWGRASS restrained outwards passing the 800m losing ground with the saddle slipping forward placing its rider in some difficulty for the remainder of the race.
