Stewards Comments

CICINHO raced wide throughout. LEGAL AGENT commenced awkwardly. ETERNAL POWER steadied when improving onto heels approaching the 800m and was taken outwards. Rider was questioned regarding his riding of the gelding over the concluding stages and this inquiry was adjourned to a time and date to be fixed. IN NO DANGER got its head in the air at the 1400m and then raced ungenerously. Rider advised that the gelding felt uncomfortable throughout running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have strained its near fore flexor tendon. Trainer was advised that the gelding would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to trialling and would have to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again. CYCLONIC FORCE slow into stride. Checked near the 1400m.
