Stewards Comments

MIKALDICO slow in stride. When questioned regarding the performance, rider advised that he had enjoyed a trouble-free run throughout but the gelding had failed to run on as anticipated. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have soreness across the hindquarters. Trainer advised that he would have the gelding undergo a thorough Veterinary examination over the ensuing days and advise Stewards of any abnormalities and his future intentions. MONEY EXCHANGE upon arrival on course Trainer advised that the gelding had slipped over in the float en route to the course and after undergoing a Veterinary examination was passed fit to start.
