Stewards Comments

SILENT HERO slow into stride. Tightened and steadied passing the 1100m. DANBY WISKE returned having bled from both nostrils during running. Trainer was advised that the gelding would now suffer the disabilities of ARR.53A. WERD raced fiercely and threw its head in the air in the early stages and shifted inwards passing the 1100m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with self inflicted abrasions to both hind pasterns. Trainer advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell.
