Stewards Comments

STAR RULER shifted outwards at the 500m to avoid the heels of another runner and bumped heavily with another runner. FLYING TRAPEZE raced wide from the 600m. LORD AIRLIE held up from on straightening until leaving the 200m. GOLLY GEE raced wide until leaving the 1100m. Over-raced in the early and middle stages getting its head in the air on a number of occasions between the 1600m and the 1400m. JOEHOUSEROCK raced in restricted room at the 600m. Lay outwards over the concluding stages. WYE RIVER lay outwards over the concluding stages. HELLFIRE BAY raced wide and bumped heavily with another runner leaving the 500m. PROMISING lay outwards in the straight. REGIMENTAL MISS raced in restricted room becoming crowded and having to check losing position at the 500m. STOLEN threw its head into the next barrier on jumping resulting in this mare losing a significant amount of ground. Returned with a mouth injury. Stewards reviewed the start of this race and were satisfied that this was as a direct result of the mare's behaviour and was therefore declared a definite runner.
