Stewards Comments

EVERLONG improved onto heels and steadied at the 800m. Hesitated and attempted to jump a section of track approaching the 200m. MOOMBA PRINCE over-raced in the early and middle stages. CATCH THE SPIRIT over-raced in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. When questioned Trainer reported that he would now consider retiring the gelding. Trainer was advised that the gelding would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. MEDIA WOLF raced wide from the 700m. THE SUCCESSOR returned having bled from both nostrils during running. As the gelding had bled previously on 9 May 2009, Trainer was advised under AR 53A that all present and future nominations for the gelding would now be refused. VERSORBAY bumped at the start. SHE'S NOT UGLY (NZ) jumped awkwardly and bumped at the start.
