Stewards Comments

RUSSIAN PLAYMATE dwelt at the start, losing ground. Steadied outwards from the heels of another runner near the 450m. ROYAL DEVOTION reared as the gates were open and took no part in the race. Trainer was advised that the mare would have to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards before racing again. HIFALUTIN unable to obtain clear running in the straight. CASSANDARA SHADOW held tight, bumped and steadied near the 450m. SLEEPWALK over-raced in the early and middle stages. ROCK MY PAGO raced wide throughout. VERSARC lay outwards on straightening. When questioned regarding the performance, rider advised that the mare raced keenly in the middle stages and was under pressure from the 500m. Trainer will be contacted regarding the performance and his future intentions. DANCE ACROSS held up for clear running from on straightening until taken outwards leaving the 200m. XAAR BOOM a post race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with an abrasion to the off hind heel.
