Stewards Comments

MR MARDI GRAS bounded at the start. Over-raced in the early and middle stages and when being steadied shifted outwards abruptly from heels and bumped heavily with another runner at the 500m. Lay inwards under pressure in the straight. STATES SECRET raced keenly in the middle stages. Bumped heavily, unbalanced and carried wide at the 500m. Lay inwards under pressure in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an abrasion to the near hind fetlock. GODULFI bumped at the start. Raced greenly in the straight and veered outwards quickly over the concluding stages. BLAZE FORWARD lay outwards in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the colt to be shin sore. Trainer advised that the colt would now spell. DINE AND WINE bumped at the start. KIANINNY COVE slow into stride. TOO GRANDE TOMMY raced wide throughout. FUSAICHI'S MY DAD bumped at the start. ROCK OF THE ORIENT slow into stride. Held up for clear running from on straightening until near the 200m. TENACIOUS DANE bumped at the start. Lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages. YOWIE'S DREAM raced wide throughout and lay outwards passing the 200m.
